sea eagle

A sea eagle got hassled by a group of magpies today. The sea eagle gave up and flew away. A few days previously, we saw a sea eagle take a platypus from the river and fly away with it in its talons. We haven’t seen a platypus since then. But that’s only one platypus and there are plenty more of them in the Bellinger River. We are now waiting for a new comer to move in to our stretch of the river.
