It's cooling down rapidly as we descend into autumn and winter. It was 5 degrees overnight last night. We'll fire up the slow combustion fire tonight for the first time this year. The property looks particularly gorgeous at this time of year. The leaves of the liquidamber trees are changing from green to lime green to yellow, brown, red and purple, and then fluttering down to the ground to create a leafy walkway. This one is in the lime green to yellow stage.
