Acanthorhynchus tenuirostris

This Eastern Spinebill feeds on the nectar of the grevillias and banksias that are planted around the house. They are also called Spinebill Honeyeater or Cobbler's Awl. They flit from flower to flower, probing them with their long, spine-like bill. They come to feed all year round.
