The garden I played in as a child always had snowflakes. My childhood imagination saw them as hundreds of ladies in beautiful white gowns with delicate green dots around the hemline. I've always thought that they look much better in a mass planting. There has to be hundreds of little ladies. But it's so expensive to buy a good amount of them. And it takes so long to get a good amount from an initial purchase of only half a dozen. So a few years back when I noticed a bulk lot of Snowflake bulbs for sale at Ebay at a reasonable price, I took the opportunity to purchase a whole onion bag full of them.  Now every August I have the pleasure of  being flanked by a gallery of little ladies in their white gowns as I walk up to my front door.
